SEU Training of Trainers in Co-Coaching Skills

Between July 1-5, a series of trainings in Co-Coaching Skills were held for the students of the Master’s Program in Education Administration at Georgian National University SEU.

Within the framework of the session, the students were introduced to:

  • Effective teaching methods;
  • Assessment methods;
  • Audience management techniques;
  • Communication and presentation techniques;
  • Issues of organization and planning of trainings;
  • Facilitation and co-coaching techniques.


The training was hosted by:

  • Lia Antadze – the supervisor of the Master’s Program in Education Administration;
  • Giorgi Donadze – the supervisor of the Master’s Program in Clinical Psychology.

Within the framework of the training, three sessions were held, in total – 6 hours. At the last session the participants presented demo versions of holding a training based on the passed materials. At the end, they were awarded with dual-language certificates.

Under the USAID Civic Education Program, the SEU team won the grants competition announced for universities, which is implemented by PH INTERNATIONAL Georgia with the funding of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia. The mentioned trainings were held within the framework of the given project.

The selected students will participate in the project ‘’Citizen of Tomorrow’’ and they will hold trainings for pupils and school representatives together with the trainers.
