The unity of the Master's Program Components (university mandatory, elective and foreign language, compulsory and elective study courses, practice and research component of a concentration), according to their content, learning and teaching methods and amount of credits, that provides an achievement of the study results considering by the program, with an appropriate level of  the Higher Education qualification framework of the second level (master's) cycle.

After finishing the program, Master should be aware of the complex issues of social interaction, also should have the ability to find solutions of the problem, solve it, and critically approach the issue. Also, the Master should be able to use the research methodology of the field for performing a research project.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING

After completing the Master Program, the student will develop deep and systemic knowledge in the field, that allows the creation of new, original ideas and understanding the ways of solving individual problems;

In particular, the student will have a deep and systematic knowledge based on the current topical clues, like:

  • Ways of identifying and regulating global and local problems in the field of human resources management under globalization;
  • Principles of the Organization Management
  • Deep and systematic knowledge of the specific methods and issues characteristic of human resource management, matching knowledge with concrete situations;
  • Understanding the strategic role of human resources and planning human resources policies based on the strategic goals of the organization;
  • Labor legislation, prevention of disputed situations, rights and obligations of the organization and employer;
  • In-depth knowledge of attracting staff/selection, teaching, career development, performance management and establishment of organizational culture;
  • Fundamentals and techniques of organizational change management, principles of formation of effective teams.

 

ABILITY TO USE KNOWLEDGE IN PRACTICE

After completing the program, the student should be able to use the obtained knowledge and skills in practice, operating in a new, unforeseen and multidiscipline environment; Finding new and original ways of solving complex problems, including conducting the research independently by using recent methods and approaches.

In particular, the graduate will be able to:

  • Search for a new, original way of solving complex problems;
  • Orientation in crisis and conflict situations, determining organizational risk factors, developing human resources strategy and making strategic decisions;
  • Develop and implement strategic personnel policies;
  • Planning and implementation of research using the latest approaches and methods.
  • Organizational diagnostics.

 

ABILITY TO CONCLUDE 

Graduate of the program has developed a critical analysis of the complex and incomplete information (including the latest researches),  and the ability to formulate the grounded conclusions.

Specifically, the student will be able to:

  • Determine the level of organizational development, diagnosis and the formulation of critical needs in the field of human resources;
  • The critical analysis of the HRM Strategy and Operational HRM analysis based on the latest results of the current processes and changes in human resources management and the latest data audits processes.
  • Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of human resources management practices in the working environment and planning ways of its  improve;
  • Establish grounded conclusions based on critical analysis of complex and incomplete information (including recent research); Innovative synthesis of information based on the latest data;
  • Interpret research data, to make adequate conclusions in the context of data abundance or incomplete data.

 

COMMUNICATION SKILLS 

Graduate of the program will develop competences to communicate their conclusions, arguments and research methods with academic and professional societies in Georgian and foreign languages, taking into consideration the standards of academic honesty and information-communication technologies.

In particular, the Master is able to:

  • Find information about the specific field, its structuring and present to academic or public society  in oral or written form;
  • To formulate  structured and consistent research material results in both written and verbal forms;
  •  Analyze the obtained data  from various sources (secondary data);
  • Prepare a written report and its oral presentation;
  • Convey their opinions on a specific problem in a writing form;
  • Convey the outcome of the research results, in written or oral, in full or generalized form.

 

Competence of linguistic communication

 A graduate can communicate in Georgian and English languages with both specialists and non-specialists concerning professional issues, and conducting the arguable themes in the correct forms of communication.

Competence of  using Information Technologies:

Ability to use Internet-resources and information technology as a communication and learning tool;

LEARNING ABILITY 

After completing the Master Program, the Master should be able to conduct the learning independently, to realize the peculiarities of the learning processes and high level of strategic planning.

In particular, the student is able to:

  • Understand the need for continuous education (learning throughout life);
  • Determine their own learning aspirations, taking into consideration the  environment and opportunities and independently developing the knowledge strategy;
  • Consistent and versatile  evaluation of their knowledge, in order to understand the need for further learning, to develop the future studying strategy and deepen the knowledge independently;
  • Find necessary information and ability of structuring development.
  • Experience of personal growth by learning assistance.

 

VALUES

Graduates can evaluate the attitude of their and others towards values and can contribute to the establishment of new values by using the acquired skills.

In particular, graduate:

  • Knows the rules and ethics of the use of scientific polemics, citation of the works of other authors, and can analyze the ways of establishing values and develop innovative methods to establish them.
  • Recognizes the values of the social responsibility of the corporation and can contribute to the establishment of these values;
  • Holds the capacity of expressing and getting critics correctly;
  • Understands the need and yearning for  the permanent self-development,
  • Professional adjustment (protection of scientific ethics standards).
