On January 29, public lecture will be held at Georgian National University SEU on the topic: the ‘’Theory of Affordances’’ by Gibson in terms of technologies, the event will be organized by the Master’s Program in Education Administration and the Bachelor’s Program in Information Technology.

• During the session students will get familiar with the ‘’Theory of Affordances’’ by Gibson and its practical application in technologies;
• During the lecture based on certain examples, students will perform the critical analysis of the immanent affordances and limitations of technological interface design;
• The participants will be able to find out what opportunities do certain technologies give or take from its users and, therefore, what impact does all this have on society.
  
  

Speaker - Natia Akhvlediani, head of the school laboratory of modern technologies "Explorium".

The session will be held in an interactive regime, interested persons will have the opportunity to raise questions and discuss different issues.

Certificates will be issued after the completion of the public lecture.
