SEU - Georgian National University

On December 9, a workshop will be organized by Georgian National University SEU and the School Laboratory of Modern Technologies ‘’Explorium’’ on the topic: ‘’The Hour of Code’’.

‘’The Hour of Code’’ is a worldwide educational movement. The Week is dedicated to a programist woman, Grace Hopper, the aim of the events is to show the pupils that they can get such knowledge within just an hour, which will enable them to write a code.

Both senior pupils (XI-XII) and junior pupils (IV, V, VI) may attend the workshop (the workshops for senior pupils and for junior pupils will be held separately)

• Pupils will gain knowledge about machine learning and artificial intelligence. They will create respective data sets for a system themselves;
• They will learn the basics of web-programming and create first website.
  
  

During the event, the pupils will be working on international programming platforms with the help of lecturers.

The places are limited ! The first 30 registered pupils will have the opportunity to attend the workshop

The workshop will be held by the lecturers of Georgian National University SEU and the School Laboratory of Modern Technologies ‘’Explorium’’.

The mentioned workshop will enable pupils to take first steps into the world of modern technologies.

Explorium is a school laboratory of modern technologies, which aims to support pupils in their creative development using computer technologies.

After the workshop the participants will be awarded with certificates.
