On Match 15, the Third International Online Science Congress: The 21st Century EU: A New Silkroad Project was co-organized by SEU, Lazarski University, the National University of Distance Education of Spain and the University of Madrid (CEDEU), a dialogue between the East and the West for researchers and representatives of academic field.
The Congress aimed at the promotion of scientific debates and exchange of ideas on the actual situation in the EU and the relations with Asia.
The Congress was opened by a Vice-Rector of SEU, Professor Anna Phirtskhalashvili. She spoke about the importance of the silk road for the political and economic development of Georgia. SEU professors Giorgi Kharshiladze, Rusudan Beriashvili and Paata Shurghaia participated in the Congress, Paata Shurghaia also was the moderator of one of the sessions.
The Congress materials will be published in the collection of reports, which will be issued in Spain – with the editorship of Anna Phirtskhalashvili, Martin Dahl and Alfonso Sebrian Diaz.
