The “European Green Deal”, as a strategy for the continent’s low-carbon economic development, has a direct impact on the European Union’s neighborhood. Accordingly, the goal of the project is to share the European experience related to green policy with the Georgian students and other interested parties.
The head of the project is Irakli Samkharadze, the director of the European Integration Research Center of SEU, involving the leading Georgian and foreign experts: Anna Phirtskhalashvili, Kurt Deketelaere, Romain Strasser, Matteo Fermeglia, Tamta Margvelashvili, Giga Gigashvili, Maka Kardava and Martin Dahl.
Two educational courses, a summer school, and other relevant activities are scheduled to take place as part of the three-year project, intended to promote teaching about European standards, raising awareness, and establishing appropriate values in society at large. The project also involves various activities, allowing the specific services of Tbilisi City Municipality to take part in.
